Getting your SURFDRY set-up is incredibly simple if you follow this SURFDRY Quickstart Guide, you just need a few things before you get started:
Rinse your gear with fresh water to remove salt and sand. These are not good for drying your wetsuit.
Hang your gear by folding your wetsuit at the waist. This is recommended by all wetsuit brands to minimize stretching.
Select a warm and dry indoor location for drying.
The air needs to exit out of your gear in order to speed up the drying process.
For Wetsuits, set the SURFDRY shutter to wetsuit mode.
For Booties, set the SURFDRY unit to bootie mode by twisting the shutter. This mode intakes dry air into your booties and exhausts moist air through the orange outlet adjacent to the main housing.
Once set, insert the SURFDRY units into your gear.
Pro Tip: Adjust your gear so that there aren't any pinch points restricting outlet airflow.
Plug one SURFDRY into a USB-C power source. That can either be a plug socket using the plug connection provided, or a USB-C battery pack (not included).
Daisy chain up to eight (8) SURFDRY units together, so they all have power.
Pro Tip: check the exit ankle or wrist for outlet airflow.
Relax and enjoy fresh and dry gear by the next morning!
Your wetsuit should be dry after being left overnight.
You're ready for an epic surf session starting in a dry wetsuit!
