Best results for overnight drying?

Very thick wetsuits, especially those manufactured from open-cell neoprene, absorb tremendous amounts of water. When saturated, these types of wetsuits will often absorb more than 5 pounds of water, commonly more than the wetsuit's own dry weight.

Thick and open-cell wetsuits, particularly ones with hoods, may take longer to fully dry.

TROUBLESHOOTING your SURFDRY

USB Battery Brick Compatability

Only plug SURFDRY into USB-C ports on USB Battery Bricks. USB-A (larger rectangular plug variety) usually will shut off power after a few minutes due to SURFDRY’s extremely low power and efficient fans. The tiny load is often unrecognized by the battery.

Note, some USB battery bricks do not conform to USB-C specifications, whose power should remain active if any USB-C cord is plugged in.

For those batteries, SURFDRY either won’t run or will disconnect after a few minutes. We recommend trying a different battery brick. So far, our testing reveals 90% of USB-C batteries are compatible with SURFDRY.

Fans not running?

  1. Make certain USB-C cables are FULLY SEATED at both ends. If fans are still not running, proceed to Step 2.
  2. Isolate non-spinning SURFDRY unit and plug that SURFDRY directly into a different USB-C power source with USB-C cable at both ends. If the fan spins, replace original with good working USB power source. If fans are still not running, proceed to Step 3.
  3. Switch USB-C cables. If the fan spins, replace the USB Cable. If fans are still not running, proceed to Step 4.
  4. Swap USB ports on SURFDRY. If the fan spins on only one port, contact SURFDRY. Otherwise, proceed to Step 5.
  5. If fan does not spin and you’ve tried different power supply and also different cords and both USB-C ports, please contact us.
